Top Five Friday

This weekend is a very special anniversary for me so I thougth for my Top Five I would tell you my top five favorite things about my sweetheart.

5. He always tells me he loves me on the phone everytime we talk, 11 years of marriage every single time. More importantly he means it and I know that!

4. He is an amazing father with such a devotion to raise good people.

3. He is very, very, very, very, patient with me!

2. He is humble, sweet, kind and gets cuter to me everyday!!

1. When I can't sleep he lets me lay in the crook of his arm with my head on his chest because he knows that I can always fall asleep that way even though it is hard to him to breathe laying on his back.

I love him to death and thank you for indulging m sappy little top five and below is a slide show celebrating our life for the past 11 years here is to many more Love you sweetie!!

Top Five Friday

Okay I kinda stole this from one of my favorite movies which is High Fidelity which he is always quoting his top ten this and that, so I will try each friday to give you my top five something and feel free to give me yours and comment on mine I also realize I am starting this on Saturday but bear with me!!

Being that I stole this from a John Cusack (whom I love, love, love!!!) I am going to give you my top five favorite John Cusack movies! On a side note one night for a date my husband and I attempted to find and purchase as many John Cusack movies it was so much fun however a little pricey!!

5. Anastasia

I consider this a cartoon for grown ups because of the adult themes but I love his voice

4.Gross Pointe Blank

this is my husbands favorite if you are ever going to an high school reunion great flick to watch before hand.

3.Must love Dogs

I laugh and cry at this movie every time

2.High Fidelity

Any man or woman who has ever considered leaving a relationship for something better needs to see this movie plus Jack Black is hilarious

1.Serendipity

This is a movie I didn't want to like but I LOVED IT!!!! This is a movie you always have to sigh at the end and feel wonderful!!!!

okay it has been a little while

I realize I haven't blogged in a while but hopefully I will make up for it, here are some of the reasons,

Christmas Cards, Wrapping, Shopping (which I do not enjoy call me crazy!), cleaning, laundry, starting a new job, sick kids, husband and not that it matters but ME! end of year books for the business, projects at school, decorating, AAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

But I do have a fun story for you which I will put in the form of a sketch so you can get the full effect.

Porter:(asking me AGAIN!!) Mom, is Christmas tomorrow?

Mommy: No buddy, tomorrow we go to church, then we have Christmas Eve and dinner with Grandpa and Grandma Bankhead and grandma Sawyer and maybe Uncle Mike and Aunt Crystal and then we go to sleep and Santa will come while we are sleeping.

Porter: Okay

Mommy: But we need to remember to leave Santa cookies.....

Porter: or Pizza!!!!

Thankful Thursday

Well Thursday kinda snuck up on this week, but nevertheless here it is,

I am thankful this week for yet another friend this person is always willing to ride the ride along with me and never thinks I am crazy when I want to do certain things. (which most people do) she always has so much energy and spirit you can't help but love her and want to be just like her when you grow up. She is a wonderful example to me and so many others. She is an amazing Mother and an amazing friend. She rocks my world and I love her to death!!! and her name is.....drum roll.....please....... Melinda!!!!!! love ya babe

Today is a special day for me!!!

Well I am sure you are asking yourself what could be so special about today, well 11 years ago today, my cute little (well not little) boyfriend picked me up for lunch from blockbuster music (anyone remember that store) where I was working and took me to Wendy's how romantic!! where I don't remember what we ate??? Then as we were we sitting in his truck after talking he said close your eyes, Ohhh I thought an early Christmas present!!! When to my complete surprise he slipped a ring on my finger, he didn't say anything I am pretty sure he was in as much shock as I was, so never to be the one to pass up an opputunity, I said yes! yes! yes!. So then I went back to work!

Crazy to think it has been 11 years most days it feels like yesterday and yes I would do it all over again except I would wait for him to say the words so he couldn't hold it against me later lol!!

Winter is here!!!

So we woke up this morning to a beautiful blanket of snow,

which of course came the same day I was trying to take

Christmas card pictures. But my kids could not have been

cuter witnessed by the video that you will find, they really

wanted to go sledding as you will see. LET IT SNOW!!!!
