Top Seven Sunday

I did'nt post my top five friday and now I am glad that I didn't so I can do a special top seven Sunday. Today we lost a truly amazing man to the home I believe he has been longing to be at for sometime. President Hinckley was so beloved and admired by those who knew him, both in the church and out. We will truly miss him, but I am so happy for him that he once again is with his beloved wife and many treasured friends and I am sure some new ones.

1. My most favorite thing about President Hinckley is his sense of humor.

2. His testimony was so solid yet never overbearing or mean spirited always Christ Like always

3. His fearless attitude toward the world, he was not afraid to take on the media and was always so respectful and amazing.

4. His humble attitude about life and those around him.

5. His love for his sweet wife.

6. His love for the Savior and his sweet testimony and the way his voice always quivered when he bore his testimony.

7. The love that my children have for him they will take with them their whole lives.

We will miss you and we truly

Thank thee O God for this Prophet

Top Five Friday

Okay once again I am late doing this but hopefully it will be worth it.
Here are five men in the celebrity industry that I think are just swell. Enjoy

I just have to say probably one of the yummiest alive and made better by the fact he can sing and dance.

This one has just happened for me since the pirate movies and mostly it is his attitude that I just love.

I have always loved this one from Han Solo to Indiana Jones to Jack Ryan love him

Also again this one didn't happen until Evita when he started singing but ever since AWESOME
This is Jason Statham and he is handsome Rob from the Italian Job and that Transporter dude but I haven't seen him in transporter. But if you get to see the Italian Job great movie and he is lovely.
All right ladies tell me who yours are!!

What's the F word?

Okay so I started working at my kids school less than a month ago and it has been going really well, but today tried me a little. My 8yr old has been throwing up and lunch today was two of my least favorite foods to clean up mashed potatoes and corn muffins so lunch already was on my last nerve. Then two sixth grade boys got in a semi fight of which I had to take them to the office cutting down on my very cramped and precious time of wiping tables. Then I finally get out of there only to be met by my fellow DUTIES!! as we are referred to, and the look on their faces let me know that I was about to hear a good story especially when they asked me if I was listening to the walkie talkie's so I knew it was going to be good. Little did I know!!!
They informed me that my son Brody, was caught on the playground saying the F word yes that is right. my sweet angelic son was dropping the F bomb on the playground. Now in all seriousness he really is sweet and this is that last kid I would expect this from. My 4 yr old however I expect him to be in trouble the first week of school.
Now here comes the funny part, he was told on by some kids and so the duty went to confront him on what he was saying, so she asked him if he was saying the F word and he proceeds to ask her "What's the F word?" and just so you know we are not allowed to tell the kids what the words are. Luckily there was another child there to spell it for him, to which he responded yes that is what I said, (he doesn't have my flare for lying@!) and then proceeds to tell them why he said it so at least he was using it in the right context. So needless to say we are going to have a little talk when he gets home!! Any advice let me know!!

Background Music

Okay so I don't know what brought this on but a couple of years ago I went to a fireside meeting and the speaker said something to the effect of all we really need in life is background music, to which I say I totally agree. Think about it.....Just as you get introduced to a scum of some loser boyfriend that you will spend the next six months getting rid of you hear the twilight zone music!!! Wouldn't that totally rock!!! Or right before you're about to buy something you really shouldn't you hear duh, duh, duh, duuuuhhhhh. Hopefully you know what that song is. Alright let me know what you needed background music for in your life and of course the corresponding song. Let me know!! Speak your mind!

A whole lotta love on the weekends

Wanted to explain something, I started working at a part time job at my kids school just before Christmas so my blogging has slowed down considerably, but nevertheless I am thinking about it I may just not get to it until the weekends when I have it stored up in my brain. What am I doing at the school you may ask my official title is Playground/Clerical, but as one eloquent sixth grader referred to it as "Are you the new lunch duty thingy?" yes my dear I guess I am. So check towards the end of the week for lots of new blog plus soon I will be starting another blog for my husbands work. Lots of fun pictures coming soon!!

Top Five Friday

Top Five things I hate/loath/despise about the media
1. They make stories out of really stupid things
i.e. Britney went to a convient store OOOOOOHHHHH NOOOOOO!
2. They refuse to let Anna Nicole Die really who cares?
3. They actually think I am going to listen to people who are celebrities who don't live normal lives to decide who to vote for??? Really
4. They are always pushing a certain agenda through whatever they do.
5. They pursue people endlessly with no regard for their safety or well being. Really could you withstand what you put others through.

Okay that's it, had to vent sorry!

John Vs. Bumblebee

Okay I have a funny story, my husband and I lean towards the side of geekdom I love Barry Manilow he loves Transformers....a little too much so for Christmas he wanted the Ultimate Bumblebee from the new movie. If you don't know what this is I apologize. So anyway after a bad experience on Amazon. Thought I was buying the big for $ 60 when it came it was the small little dinky one. We finally found it at walmart last night and he came home to "play with it" and proceeded to try to transform it. Two hours later he finally got it transformed and had become totally frustrated and had a headache. Apparently they were a lot easier to transform when we were younger. Love ya babe but maybe we should let the transforming thing to the kids.
