PCP at our house!!!

Okay so Porter's birthday is coming up and the one thing he has asked for is a Pancake Puff. So last week at Target we found it and thought I will hide this away until May 14. Well after a week in my husbands truck he finally told me this morning that the PCP is in the bottom draw of his toolbox in the garage. I immediately said WHAT!!! He then looked at me very disturbed and mouthed the words PANCAKE PUFF!!! And then said yes honey I'm dealing now!!! And I said then where is my money!!! Have a great day!

Top five thursday/friday

Today is my friday so here we go, being that I have been trying to be good and lose some extra luggage on my behind, I am going to wish I could and give my top five favorite easter candy.

5. dried out peeps. keep in mind I don't like them when they are fresh they have to be a little chewy.

4.Starburst Jelly Beans, but it has to be the starburst kind.

3. chocolate covered cinnamon bears, these really aren't easter but my husband bought some and i am trying really hard to avoid them. if you haven't tried them they are totally worth the calories

2.Robin Eggs and yes I still use them for some awesome lip gloss while I eat them with my kids.

1. CHOCOLATE CADBURY EGGS NOT THE ONES WITH THE EGGY STUFF IN THEM THE PURE CHOCOLATE WITH THE LOVELY CANDY SHELL. YOU MUST HAVE SOME IF YOU HAVE NOT!!! THEY ARE 2 FOR 3 AT SMITHS RIGHT NOW, not that i would know!!

A week so long

Well this week has just about killed me. but really no!! We had auditions for the school musical and all in all it went really well. I think we found a great cast and today we hand out scripts and away we go and all I can say is I am so glad that we don't have school tomorrow so I can get ready for this weekend. And happy to report that all my kids are on the mend, they have all been sick this week, which made the week even more interesting.

Top Five Friday

Okay so I am directing our school musical and honestly I truly love it, the kids are amazing and it is tons of fun. Especially the kids!!!! The parents on the other hand not so much so here is my top five things you shouldn't say to the director or a play that your child is about to try out for!!
5. Do the have to be at all the practices?
(even though you just gave them a note that says they have to be at all the practices!!)
4. YOUR doing the play again?? Why???
(Because I love your children despite their twit of parents?)
3. Next year I think you should do this.......
(Next year I think YOU should do the whole darn thing since you have such great ideas!!)
2. What are the chances of my child getting a lead??
(what are the chances of you getting a clue?)
1. Your not going to do that stupid thing you did last year are you?? Because that was just horrible!!

Okay thank you I needed to vent and now I am done and go on smiling my smile to these parents.

Top Chef

Top Chef is back and yes I feel like all I post about anymore is TV, but my life is crazy at the moment and it is my release!! So I love the show Top Chef and I am so excited it is back. So far my least favorite is Andrew a mouthy, mouthy man who loves himself sooooooo much and my favorite is zoi, sarah and ryan. If you have never seen the show and you are a food network junkie it is totally worth checking out, always a little bit of drama and ego but mostly amazing food. And I love the judge Tom Colicchio (sp?) he is super cute and awesome. It is on BRAVO channel although I think sometimes it is on A&E too. Enjoy!!

I love American Idol

Okay usually I watch AI in the beginning to see the weirdos sorry I love it, I also watch cops!
Then I tune out until the very end, But this year I am addicted to it, probably has something to do with the fact we have two mormons on, has peaked my interest but they are in some good company, and even though one of my faves got kicked off last week. I still love it!! And what I love even more is they are singing songs for the last couple of weeks from the 60s 70s and 80s

well, cutey patooty Jason Castro sang this song and it was awesome and the cool thing was I remembered this song when he sang it and how much I loved it! Anyway hope you enjoy!!

Take me out to the ball game

Here is to surprising your kids I should have done this months ago, but as spring training is upon us. I thought it would be fun. So for Brody's tenth birthday we were in California and went to Disneyland but the day of his birthday we surprised him first we went to the LA Zoo which to anyone reading SKIP it is really not that great and I thought Hogle Zoo was bad. Yikes!! Anyway the only reason we went there was so we could avoid traffic at 5 to get where we really wanted to go. DODGER STADIUM!!! That's right we took him to a baseball game, but the really cool part was a surprise to all of us. I thought that the seats we got wouldn't be that great because they were cheaper but to our delight we were sitting like 9 nine rows from the field. AWESOME!!! And finally Tommy LaSorda has a foundation for kids that donates money from people who pay money to have their birthday message put on the sign around the field so you guessed it here is a slide show of a great memory!!!
